Pharm. Dr. Ogochukwu N.C. Umeh is a dynamic, highly motivated, innovative and resourceful pharmacist with knowledge and skills needed to train upcoming pharmacists, do research, practice pharmacy and effectively promote health in the tropics. She is a Senior lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology & Industrial Pharmacy, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She obtained her Pharmacy degree from the same University in 2005 and holds Masters (UNN, 2012) and Ph.D (UNN, 2019) degrees in Pharmaceutical Technology & Industrial Pharmacy. She is also an Alexander von Humboldt fellow. Other qualifications include Dominion Leadership Institute, DLI certification (Basic and Advanced courses in leadership, 2006), Proficiency Certificate in Management (2007, NIM). She is the current national treasurer of NAPA and also a member of several faculty and University committees where she served in various capacities such as Executive Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty (2008-2010), Departmental Exam officer, (2008 – 2012; 2014 to 2019), Secretary to the Drug delivery and Nanotechnology Research unit (RUNDD) domiciled in her department (2013 - date) etc. She is happily married with three kids.
